I will be SO glad........

when the election is over with..........No matter who wins, I will respect thier leadership and pray for them. I hate all the mean and negative comments about each candidate. I hate that we feel the need to SLAM one person to make our choice look or seem better. They both are who the people voted for and want. I mean this is America where people vote SO why do we feel the need to be so cruel to either one of them. They are someones's child, husband, father........It really saddens me when I see people hoping one or both are harmed in any way. WOW......
I have kept quiet about it all BUT this is my blog and I can say what I want, lol.
Sure............I like one more than the other BUT I just do not feel the need to be so cruel about it. I have to be the role model for my kids with this and in every other area as well. SO I want them to hear and see me speaking well of BOTH candidates. What gets me is no matter who it was, junk would be talked about either one of them. It could be Tim Jones and Bill Smith running, lol. Thankfully I feel/know that God knows already who it will be. He is more powerful than either of them and SO I will just vote with my heart and let Him take care of the rest.

I wish McCain and Obama the best in this election. They have both did thier best to make thier points and passions and stands known. I am sure they are both great men:) I bet their families are super proud of them. I know I would be if it were my son or husband or distant cousin, LOL

That is all I care to say on the matter.......Moving on to being a better person, wife, mother and worrying about what I am cooking for dinner tomorrow and all that darn laundry that will NOT go away, lol

It is refreshing to see you share my feelings, I wish this would all be memory. A wise lady said to me today " tomorrow history will be made either way" That is such the truth, let's all be rejoicing for that! :0)

I am glad it's over now. I always hate election season because it brings out the worst in people. There's been so much mud-slinging. Besides, I keep reminding myself that the only head honcho who really matters at the end of the day is God, and God bless America and you! :)
